Majiks DJ is a free, native DJ application for Apple Silicon Macs — a Rust audio engine under a SwiftUI interface. Two decks, real EQ kills, a quantized sampler, and hardware controller support. No subscription, no account, no upsell.
Local-first means your library lives on your Mac. Built-in Prep tools import and analyze your collection — BPM, key, fingerprinting, metadata enrichment, duplicate detection, and playlists — so tracks are set-ready without a second app.
And it is agent-native: an MCP server exposes the decks, mixer, sampler, and library to AI agents. Ask an agent to prep new arrivals or hold down a warm-up set — then grab the faders yourself. It is a DJ app you can play, script, or both.
